Your sample can be collected in-clinic at PUUR or we can send you a requisition to have your blood drawn at a Quest Diagnostics location that is convenient for you. Most in-clinic draws take 15 to 20 minutes.
Results are sent directly to you once processed. Turnaround varies by panel, most return within 2 to 5 business days. Your provider will give you an estimated timeframe at your visit.
A provider review appointment is available if you want help understanding your numbers. Not required, but strongly encouraged for hormone and comprehensive panels where values interact with each other.
Multiple panels can be ordered and collected at the same visit with a single blood draw in most cases. Common pairings:
Hormone Testing Panel (most comprehensive option). At $150 this is the most comprehensive single panel we offer. It includes every marker in the Comprehensive Health Panel plus a full hormone workup. The recommended starting panel for anyone beginning a TRT, weight loss, or hormone therapy program at PUUR.
Hormone and Vitamin Deficiency Panels. Vitamin deficiencies and hormone imbalances often contribute to the same symptoms. Running both panels at once tells the complete story and avoids false attribution, for example, low D3 and low testosterone both cause fatigue, and knowing which you are dealing with matters.
Comprehensive Health and Vitamin Deficiency Panels. A strong annual wellness baseline. Most people who run this combination find at least one value outside the optimal range they were not aware of.

No. You can order any panel directly at PUUR without a referral from your primary care physician. We are a licensed clinical practice and our providers can order labs independently. This is one of the advantages of working with a wellness clinic, you do not need to navigate a referral process to get the information you are looking for.
Most standard panels return within 2 to 5 business days depending on the specific tests ordered and whether your sample goes to an in-clinic analyzer or an external lab partner. Hormone panels that include more specialized markers may take slightly longer. Quest Diagnostics turnaround times are typically within this window.
Yes. Your appointment at PUUR is a private clinical visit. Your results are sent directly to you. Standard patient privacy protections apply to all lab results including STD panels. If you have specific questions about how your results are stored or who has access to them, call us at (346) 472-5888 before booking and we will walk you through our process.
It depends on the panel. The Comprehensive Health Panel includes a lipid panel and blood sugar markers that are most accurate when drawn fasting, meaning nothing to eat or drink except water for at least 8 hours before your appointment. The Hormone Panel, Vitamin Deficiency Panel, and STD Panel do not require fasting. If ordering multiple panels in the same visit, plan to fast to cover the comprehensive panel requirements. Your confirmation will include specific prep instructions.
Your results are sent directly to you. If something is flagged outside the normal range, you have two options. You can book a provider review appointment at PUUR to go through the results and discuss next steps, or you can take the results to your primary care physician. Many patients do both. A provider review at PUUR is particularly useful if your results relate to a program you are already enrolled in here, such as hormone therapy or weight loss.
