Your licensed clinician takes a full history and exam. You won’t be rushed. Tell them what’s going on in your own words. If additional testing is needed (strep, UTI, etc.), we’ll discuss it and the cost before doing anything.
You get a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan. If a prescription is appropriate, your clinician writes it and sends it to your pharmacy. If a test or in-clinic treatment (IV fluids, pain injection, strep swab) would help, your clinician tells you the exact cost first and you decide whether to add it.

Yes. If your clinician determines a prescription is appropriate for your diagnosis, they’ll write one and send it to the pharmacy of your choice. That includes antibiotics for bacterial infections, antivirals for flu, prescription-strength allergy medication, and similar common treatments. We do not prescribe controlled substances for acute visits.
Most same-day sick visits are wrapped up in 30 to 45 minutes once your appointment starts. That includes the intake, exam, diagnosis, and any in-clinic treatment. If your situation is more complex or needs additional testing, your clinician will give you a realistic timeline before proceeding.
Urgent care centers typically handle a broader scope including X-rays and more significant injuries, and they charge accordingly, often hundreds of dollars before insurance even kicks in.
